23andMe is looking for an experienced Senior Manager in Marketing Analytics who will be responsible for the further development, execution, and operations of our marketing insights engine. This role will be pivotal in shaping and achieving our growth strategy, using tools ranging from annual forecasting to metrics-driven reporting, to data pipelines and tech stack management. You will possess both strategic business acumen and a track record of operational excellence. What youll do Contribute to the marketing teams direction/strategy and influence decision-making based on information gained from deep-dive ad hoc analysis. Mine data for critical business insights and customer intelligence. Design sophisticated analytical models and statistically sound tests. Lead the annual and quarterly marketing forecasting and goal-setting process, guiding conversation around success of efforts. Report on Marketing performance, campaign tracking and sales attribution, marketing database quality, data compliance (e.g. GDPR compliance) and financial reporting. Lead cross-department collaboration with Finance for forecasting and planning, Product for consumer insights and optimization, Engineering for website features/tools, Data Analytics to scale reporting infrastructure and act as a resource for complex technical projects. Define metrics and dashboards to measure the contribution of marketing campaigns, programs, advertising, events, email, and web teams. Manage and develop a team, providing thought leadership, analyses ideation, and professional development of the Marketing Analytics team members. What youll bring 8 years of experience in acquisition marketing, including 5 years of experience in marketing analytics and operations 5 years people management experience Deep experience and/or educational background in economics and statistical modeling Experience managing and optimizing a marketing tech stack Ability to be a player-coach for the marketing ops and analytics team. Strong ability to manage cross-functional partnerships
