Were on the hunt for an experienced Director of Business Development who ranks in the top quartile among their peers. Someone who has a highly competitive and entrepreneurial mindset that is wired with a team-first attitude, has no problem rolling up their sleeves to execute their missions, and can modulate between leading and following as needed. You will serve as the Director of Business Development.

What Youll Be Doing

At Solera, we believe in providing clarity and focus to what our volunteers are responsible for their mission. The 80s, as we call them at Solera, are the employees priorities associated with their role or mission. The mission 80s for this role, are:

Develop prospect list and drive two core segments with dedicated teams to optimize new sales opportunities. Maintain organizational focus on customer satisfaction and ensure superior business management B9direction and execution towards that goal. Develop solution-focused strategy to enable market share expansion. Create value-based selling that insures customers are receiving 8:1-4:1 return on their investment. Leverage existing assets and identify new opportunities to drive product and service expansion.

Additional responsibilities of the role include:

  • Identify Total Available Market (TAM) for responsible business segments. Develop and implement market share strategy to maximize customer participation. Segments include Business to Business and Key Accounts.
  • Manage existing enterprise accounts to ensure full customer satisfaction. Develop relationship management and feedback processes.
  • Provide visible and effective leadership within Identifix as well as with customers, partners, and the external community.
  • Are You Qualified?

    The successful candidate will have the following experiences, characteristics and competencies:

    This individual will have proven skills as a strategist and innovator of whole offer solutions that have led to sales leadership and customer success. Minimum 5-10 years of prior executive leadership in business development, this individual will have the proven ability to drive best in class business management and cross-functional processes and procedures. This individual will exude business development excellence and demonstrate integrity and highly motivational leadership skills that are required to inspire confidence and trust. The successful candidate will have experience in the following areas:

  • A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sale performance expectations through selling to and managing key enterprise partnerships.
  • Deep understanding of customer needs and requirements in a subscription driven revenue model.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with other parts of the business.
  • A track record of capturing market share growth and increasing profit margins. No-nonsense and results-driven business perspective with a competitive desire to win.
  • Professional Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal and written communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Manage business unit expectations and relationships while working with people from many different disciplines and varying degrees of technical understanding
  • Collaborative and open style which is pro-active and service oriented
  • Must be a strong leader with excellent interpersonal skills and a strong customer service orientation.
  • Entrepreneurial, with a natural curiosity to explore new ideas.

  • Bachelors degree desirable
