The person in this role will lead the creation and implementation of the Digital Health Innovation roadmap for a $3.7B Global Business Unit. This roadmap will consist of two key elements, 1. Building framework for the required infrastructure to support and implement new product and digital applications in collaboration of our IT and R&D teams, 2. Define the digital health requirements, per externally validated needs, for all new product projects and digital applications on the roadmap. 3. Lead, plan and maintain the technology and digital health strategy (governance and framework) for the GBU working very closely with the GBU Staff and support functions guaranteeing alignment among stakeholders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Will report directly to the Innovation and Pipeline VP of the Renal Care GBU Will partner with Digital Health to align and prioritize the technology/digital strategy for the GBU . Will establish and maintain the governance and framework around the prioritization of the technology/digital strategy for the GBU Will guarantee the alignment among the different stakeholders/areas, within and outside the GBU, around the technology/digital strategy. Will guarantee the alignment of the portfolio of the GBU (current, in process and future) with Baxter technology/digital strategy and within the GBU. Ensures that the technology/digital strategy matches stakeholder/customer/patients needs of the GBU. Understand, anticipates and raise awareness of market and competitive dynamics and trends that could impact the technology/digital strategy from the GBU. Act as or coordinate with the product/marketing managers for lifecycle of product. Solid ability to understand market trends, financial data, and customer needs and assess competitive intelligence data. Ability to develop and execute communication plans and messaging and branding campaigns. Skills in the areas of pricing, reimbursement, and creative product/program development. Solid strategic planning abilities and business acumen. Track record in leading projects to successful completion.
Qualifications Educational background in Marketingand/or Business related fields. Preferable a Masters DegreeinMarketing, Business or Digital Health. At least 8 years of workingexperience where 3 of those where in management positions and preferably atleast 2 years on global roles. Knowledge of the HealthCare spaceand specifically renal are highly desirable. A Career That Matters
