We have a current need for a 508 Compliance CoordinatorSpecialist to help our Department of Energy client with assessment, remediation and guidance of various publicly accessible sites. Responsibilities include 8226 Responsible for running scans on internal publicly accessible SharePoint sites to evaluate compliance with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. 8226 Responsible for removing false positives from the scan results. 8226 Responsible for providing reports and scan results to the owners of sites. 8226 Responsible for providing guidance to site owners on best practices for resolving non-compliant elements within their site. 8226 THIS POSITION CAN BE FULL- OR PART-TIME. Requirements Level of Expertise in Required Skill Set Must have excellent communication skills. Must have excellent writing skills in writing how-to documents and guidance documents for maintain websites. Level of Expertise in Desired Skill Set Full understanding of HTML and CSS. Understands and has incorporated 508 Compliance standards within static websites in the past. Experience working within SharePoint sites including its content editing capabilities. Mandatory Requirements Must be a United States Citizen. Must be able to obtain a HSPD-12 (Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12) badge within 6 months of starting position. Must work at the Idaho National Laboratory location (no remote work under this procurement).
