PRINCIPAL CONSULTANT BUSINESS CONSULTING Play a key role in solution design and delivery of MFG strategy, business process, and technology enabled business programs. Contribute in different phases of projects, including proposal documentation and sales pursuits, problem definition, diagnosis, and solution alternatives leveraging latest tools and technologies. Design and deploy leading content for IP development and knowledge management, business development proposals, and client deliverables. Provide leadership in local office activities, community building, and firm building activities. Responsibilities: Providing mid-level executive advisory services and consulting in manufacturing operations Primarily working in across the business functions of manufacturing organizations Defining operational processes, technology solutions, and strategic analyses Assist with change management programs associated with operational consulting engagements Support senior leaders for sales pursuits and firm building efforts Leading engagements Providing account expansion plans and execution Mentoring staff Preparing executive level deliverables Manage project finances, etc. Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from preferred university7 years of relevant work experience with 3 years of experience in comparable professional services or relevant industry positionManaged ~4-5 management consulting engagements of varies levels of complexity and scope
Manage other consulting and client resources
Ability to travel 4-5 days a week to multiple local, state and national client locations.

Overall 6+ years of experience
Advanced or graduate degree (MBA preferred) at preferred university
Deep experience in manufacturing organizations (e.g., Product Development, Finance, Sales, Manufacturing, Logistics, Aftermarket Support)
Experience in optimization techniques like Lean six sigma. Preferred to have certifications (e.g. black belt)
Experience in value analysis and business case preparation
Good meeting facilitation and communication skills
Excellent Powerpoint and Excel skills
Good writing skills
This job may entail an extensive amount of travel. The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time.
