Location: London / New York. Role Summary:This is a global role within the Product & Content Management Organisation, responsible for defining and implementing the Office and Desktop API Product strategy. The role will be responsible for overseeing the integration of Eikon content and analytics with Office suites (including, but not limited to Microsoft Office) and the design of desktop APIs that will provide access to framework services and desktop interoperability. The role is part of a the team responsible for establishing a world class financial desktop framework powering a business that serves a highly regulated financial services market with customers who constantly demand and expect high performance, accurate, high quality, and on time delivery of software releases to meet their demanding business requirements. The role will define and execute the strategic direction of solutions that support the business requirements and customer delivery needs; in addition to ensuring the product suite realises maximum commercial revenue opportunities. The role will lead innovation efforts to stay current in the marketplace with our technology offerings and customer requirements.. Create the product vision, strategy and execution plan to build a best in class set of Desktop APIs and financial content and analytics offering through Office products. Provide leadership and direction and be accountable for the results of the team. Drive execution in a matrix organisation. Anticipate and probe issues and contingencies with the early involvement of others, creating a culture that translates strategies into specific goals, tactics, action plans and deliverables. Report roadmap progress to Management and stakeholders; KPIs, key business deliverables and risk assessment reports. Drive accountability and make timely decisions and tough calls on enterprise issues and opportunities. Partner with Technology and Business Proposition teams to manage and oversee fully aligned communication and prioritisation as defined by the Proposition Launch Management programme. Create trust and credibility with Technology leads, Product Management and Propositions teams, working closely to anticipate customer expectations/needs along with industry and market trends and translate into solutions and capabilities. Participate in the Business Planning process by providing product expertise, express market technology trends and demands and assess technical feasibility of Business cases and company investments. Define and promote a customer centric culture within the team. Foster a culture of innovation and encourage colleagues to think differently in finding solutions to delight customers. Specific responsibilities:. Oversee the delivery of content and analytics through Office products including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office. Oversee the design of Productivity Tools for Investment Banking workflows. Drive the exposure of server side analytics into Office environments. Lead the design of APIs that will expose desktop services (ie settings, notifications, file repositories etc). Drive the design of APIs that will allow for interoperability with other desktop applications. Liaise with other Platform stakeholders to align to strategic APIs and contribute to data model standards. Ensure an impeccable customer experience. Accountable for the overall performance and Quality of the Eikon Office and Desktop API suite. Key Career Experiences:. Demonstrate thought leadership and vision in the creation and delivery of platforms and solutions.
