Description: Hiring a Vice President of Strategic Planning for top academic medical center and integrated healthcare delivery system. The Vice President of Strategic Planning will work closely with the organization and leadership to develop and direct the implementation of the organization s strategic plan. The Vice President of Strategic Planning position will involve overseeing the analytics team and assessing the overall healthcare landscape including current and emergent market trends.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the organization to develop and direct the implementation of our organization s strategic plan
  • Oversee the analytics team and assess the overall healthcare landscape including current and emergent market trends
  • Estimate the demand for various inpatient and outpatient services
  • Lead large-scale, interdisciplinary program development
  • Oversee planning for network of vital access for organizations
  • Recommend strategies to integrate institutions into the health system and expand services
  • Monitor the effectiveness of various strategic plan and their initiatives
  • Coordinate system-wide provider engagement efforts designed to increase profitable clinical activity and expand the value-based network by setting targets
  • Craft strategy to evaluate, leverage, and nurture promising ventures within and outside the organization to spark innovation and provide alternative revenue streams
  • Lead development of new clinical services, working with senior and frontline leaders to uncover operational and quality improvements while growing volume
  • Support acquisitions by articulating network growth strategies
  • Identify and address opportunities for growth and improvement

Education Requirements:

  • Master s degree in Business, Finance, or Healthcare Administration

Experience Requirements:

  • 10-15 years of leadership experience with a healthcare organization
