Seeking a Marketing Events Coordinator. Talascend has been exclusively retained by Alpine, a global Automotive Supplier for their operation expansion in Auburn Hills, MI. (This DIRECT opportunity what offers an exceptional benefit package, work-line balance and perks.)

Alpine Electronics develops a wide range of custom in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) products and navigation systems that are valued for their excellent performance and high-quality by consumers and vehicle manufacturers alike. Their brand is recognized around the world for producing an exciting in-car audio and mobile media experience that makes driving safer and more enjoyable.


Responsible for the taking the support lead in various product marketing activities to achieve the annual aftermarket go to market plan and mid-term strategy by performing the following duties. Alpine is looking to fill this position ASAP as the (CES) - Consumer Electronics Show will be in Las Vegas Jan 8-11, 2019. You do not need to attend the event, however, many things will have to be coordinated prior to the event. Ensure equipment, promotional materials, electronics, displays arrive and are set up as needed. Also, hotel coordination for the AVV and IT Team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Owns the event asset transport logistics of Marketing B2C and B2B event activities.
  • Work with Marketing Manager to define budget allocation for the go to market plan and mid-term strategy.
  • Collaborates with the Marketing team to develop Voice of the Dealer (VOD), Voice of the Consumer (VOC) data system and traffic in-flow.
  • Creates branded gear for the use of corporate events and B2B promotions.
  • Monitors inventory of sales tools to ensure sales channel demand is met.
  • Uses internal (SAP) system to create/administrate/reconcile purchase orders, maintain budgets and balance sales tool material flow to the sales field.
  • Reports Marketing budget expenses regularly to finance department.
  • Leads in the creation and maintenance of marketing B2C and B2B programs.
  • Measures the ROI of various marketing activities and reports findings to Marketing and cross-functional teams.
  • Assists with various marketing and sales projects as needed.


Will take experience over degree, must have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.


MS Office Word and Excel.

Adobe would be a bonus quick edits on programs.

Strong analytical skills.

Computer proficient in Microsoft Office.

Research ability.

Basic knowledge of business operations and international trading.

After market consumer electronics industry helpful
