Job Description





Tenneco, Inc. has recently acquired Federal Mogul. The strategic combination of Tenneco's Ride Performance business with Federal-Mogul's Motorparts business will establish a global aftermarket leader with an impressive portfolio of some of the strongest brands in the aftermarket including Monroe?, Walker?, Wagner?, Champion?, Fel-Pro? and MOOG?. The company's broader aftermarket product coverage, stronger distribution channels, and enhanced channel development will strengthen its position in established and high growth markets (China and India), and drive success through new mobility models and capturing evolving e-commerce opportunities.



We are looking for a Master Scheduler that is responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring products in a high-mix production environment. The Master Scheduler will work with individuals, including supervisors, vendors, customers and individuals from other facilities, to maximize delivery to customers at optimal inventory levels.



The team is ready to act immediately on those candidates who are the best fit for the role. You'll first hear from someone in Talent Acquisition to schedule a phone screen, and then the next step will be a personal interview with our Hiring Manager. RESPONSIBILITIES:





+ Identify and implement system and process improvements within the supply chain to enable overall business process improvement.



+ Further develop existing forecast and supply programs to improve current days of inventory and cash cycle.



+ Analyze inventory levels and product demands to determine reorder levels and safety stocks.



+ Develop and maintain master schedule and procurement plan based applicable factors.



+ Review and update production schedules and material requirements.



+ Coordinate and plan materials requirements for new product introductions, including review of new BOM's and cut-in dates for build verification and production units.



+ Assess impact to materials availability and production schedule from customer sales opportunities that may be affecting demand for product over and above the plan.



+ Review material shortages, stock outages, and safety stock levels while working with vendors, Purchasing and Manufacturing to meet customer requirements. Propose changes when needed.



+ Assist in the resolution of MRP and planning discrepancies.







Required Experience





EDUCATION:





+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in related program.



+ APICS CPIM certification.





SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:





+ Inventory Management and/or Materials Planning experience.



+ Experience in SAP Procurement Module.



+ Experience in high-mix manufacturing environment.



+ Strong computer, analytical, problem solving, and communications skills.



+ Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
