**An important link in the customer supply chain of command, the Deduction Analyst is responsible to direct and coordinate Overage, Shortage, Damage (OS&D) and Deduction research, including aspects of warehousing, logistics, deployment and transportation support and serve as support for the Customer Service Department during the high season.**
# Scope of Responsibilities:
**Customer Deductions Experience:**
+ Manage, research and track overages, shortages and damage claims for customer deliveries
+ Process credits for customer shortages and damages for customer deliveries
+ Identify patterns and opportunities to reduce overages, shortages and damage for customer deliveries
+ Manage, track, and review customer charge backs and logistics deductions and work with customer service for resolution
+ Coordinate with the Sales team and customers to find solutions and avoid future customer logistic deductions
+ Initiate corrective action plans with 3rd party providers to reduce future customer logistic deductions
+ Generates and publishes Monthly Summary Deduction and OS&D Report
# Overall Role:
+ Work directly with outside warehouses and carriers to resolve recurring problems for customer deliveries
+ Participate in Logistics departmental meetings and the accomplishment of departmental goals
+ Perform ad hoc analyses as requested by management
+ Cross train and perform back up duties for other department personnel as needed to help with unusually heavy workloads
+ Insure data integrity across all system modules

+ Ability to interpret inventory data and make order sourcing decisions.
+ Ability to work independently, under general supervision of the Customer Service Manager.
+ Ability to interact with well, and support other members of the Customer Service Department.
+ Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
# Education and Work Experience:
3 to 5 years of inventory management and 3rd party logistics management experience preferred.
Bachelor's Degree and five years of experience or equivalent combination of education and or experience.
# Working Conditions:
+ Spends approximately 85% time at desk working on computer or telephone
+ Spends approximately 15 % in warehouse or third party facilities/distribution centers.
+ May require<5% travel to perform warehouse physical inventories.
+ Occasional to Frequent usage of verbal communication equipment (telephone, radio, cellular)
+ Occasional to Constant Repetitive Fine Manipulation (keyboarding, ten key, writing)
+ Rare to Occasional Simple Grasping
+ Rare to Occasional ability to lift and carry up to 10 pounds
**Starting Rate:** $20.00 per hour, depending on experience
**Schedule:** Mon-Fri, 8am 5pm
